Kidz Biz on Monash is a refurbished Early Learning Centre that was built in the early 1970’s on Monash Avenue in Nedlands. The building is flooded with natural light and the indoor play rooms work harmoniously with the outside environments.
The Centre has a partnership with the Hollywood Primary School as our early childhood teacher works with the school to plan current school readiness experiences for our Kindy children.
Included in our fee are home-made, nutritious meals for breakfast until 7.30am, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and a late snack. We have a qualified cook.
The service has natural playgrounds and beautiful environments for the children.
University Qualified Educators create exceptional programs in accordance with the National Early Years Learning Framework. The service aims to maintain Exceeding Education & Care Regulatory Unit Standards.
We believe that children are full of Potential, Competence and Capability. They build and develop their own theories as they are the Constructors of their own Learning. Our focus is a child-centred Learning Curriculum where the child is the Protagonist who has the primary role in their Education.
14 months+ Emergent Toddler Curriculum:
Toddlers are moving from Sensory based learning through to thinking illogically about the world around them. Their Pre-Operational thoughts require support and encouragement to enable the toddler to begin forming their own ‘sense’ and knowledge about their environment and relationships.
The Emergent Curriculum provides for the individual needs of Toddlers. Low beds allow children to sleep peacefully. Toilet training is conducted in consultation with parents. Educators are trained to support and nurture each child in every aspect of their development and learning.
2 ½ years plus Kindy Program
Children are exposed to a flexible curriculum that provides a wide diversity of experiences and provocations that invite learning and develop an innate sense of wonder within each child. Our Reggio Emilia approach to education sees children as the creators of their learning and the drivers of where that learning extends to.
Every child in the service has an ongoing record of their learning and progress folios for educators to share with parents. Educators and children work together in an exciting and creative learning environment.
