Child safety is our number one priority.
Children are vigilantly supervised throughout their day with us.
Maximum staffing ratios are always in place, which more than complies with the Child Care Regulations. The Owners and Supervising Officer at each centre are all Early Childhood trained and have many years experience within the Childcare Industry.
Staff selection is very particular and references and past employment are thoroughly screened by management.
The team of childcare staff are trained in-house by Qualified Child Care Educators. Staff must also complete two childcare training workshops each year, external to centre training. Professionalism is expected from our staff in all aspects of their work. Once employed, staff are monitored on a three month trial period. Throughout this time, new staff are fully inducted, are assessed and receive regular reports highlighting areas of strength and weakness. All staff are taught the centre’s quality care practices and understand the expectations that Kidz Biz Early Learning Centre place on their staff.
The buildings are designed with children’s safety as the priority.
Vision windows connect all play areas and children are always in the line of vision of staff.
Playgrounds are located away from roads, at the rear of the building, and have 1.8 metre high fencing to protect children from contact with outsiders.
Keypad security to the centre’s entrance door, ensures no unauthorised access beyond the entrance foyer.
Unauthorised contacts are unable to collect children. Staff check ID and call parents, if any authorised contact is unknown.
The owners only purchase quality equipment that complies with Australian Standards.
The owners and operations manager are regularly in each centre ensuring quality care is being delivered to all children and their families.
