The Quality Improvement and Accreditation System began on 1 January 1994. It was developed in consultation with parents and the child care sector and is administered by the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC). “The broad objective of the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System is to ensure that children in long day care centres have stimulating, positive experiences and interactions which foster all aspects of their development.”
Kidz Biz Early Learning Centre have been registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council, since 1995. We were involved in the original consultation process and fully support the program.
Kidz Biz Early Learning Centre continually assess centre operations against the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System Principles, by implementing regular Centre Self Study Reports.
These Centre Self Study Reports highlight areas requiring attention, before a decline in quality practices occurs. Management consult with staff to devise action plans to maintain quality practices. Staff job descriptions state that they are responsible for ensuring continual improvement occurs within the centre.
An active Parent Committee provides support, input and feedback into all centre operations. Families are involved in consultation processes when Policies and Practices are being developed or reviewed. Current guidelines and information are obtained from relevant childcare authorities to ensure up-to-date changes are put in place.
We are very proud that both centres have attained the highest standard in all areas of service in their latest accreditation processes.
Over the past ten years Kidz Biz Early Learning Centre has always achieved a rating of High Quality. This aim applies to every Kidz Biz Early Learning Centre.
