MAP  Facilities The Centre offers a modern, safe and educational learning environment for the children. There are 5 Care rooms to accommodate the children. The Centre has a Full Time Non-Contact Supervising Officer to work in the front office. A Qualified Food Coordinator will work each day to provide the children with 3 meals and a late snack. Skylights and vents in the roof will add in natural light and allow fresh air to circulate throughout the centre and children’s care rooms.  Care Groups – This centre offers our: Babies Rooms 1 which cares for 8 children 0-12 months; Babies Room 2 which cares for 12 children from 1 – 2 years of age; Toddlers Room which cares for 19 children from 2 – 3 years; Kindy Room which cares for 45 children from 3 – 5 years; and School Room which cares for children from 5 – 10 years of age. Both our Kindy and School Rooms also use a Specialist Teaching Room. A Qualified Early Childhood Teacher oversees all 3-6 years programs. This centre offers a very limited number of before & after School care places. The children are grouped according to their level of development. For Example, Our Babies 1 & 2 rooms both cater for children under 2 years of age. When children reach 12 months, they are ready to explore and try out new developmental skills. Children that are ready, move up into Babies Room 2.  Playground Our spacious, grassed and shady Adventure Playground provides children with room to run with their friends and explore the varied, exciting planned gross motor activities. The Playground has real lawn for the children to play on. The climbing Structure is Australian Standards Approved. A Child-sized drinking fountain ensures water is accessible to children at all times. The fountain is sanitized each day. Shade Frames over sandpit, wide sweeping verandahs and colourful Shade Sails over play equipment, ensure children can play outside while protected from the sun’s harmful rays. The Centre’s Sun Protection Policy limits play time in the direct sun during the higher UV months of the year. We all wear 30+ sunscreen and hats all year round. Children play games and engage in many experiences that are both fun and educational. This is where most of our Messy explorations take place!! No swimming pools or paddling pools are used at the centre. A single-child trampoline, supervised by an adult, is used only during kindy gymnastics class time.  Centre Security The Centre is fitted with a Monitored Alarm System. No unauthorised access can be made past the entry foyer. The entry door into the centre has a coded key pad. Staff are trained to handle Emergency and Hold Up situations. Staff are informed of all children protected by Custody Orders and are trained how to handle these situations. Don't Miss Out!
